Alexa Loves : my Diana F+ March and April

Yesterday I picked up two more sets of prints from my Diana F+.  The thing I love about film is the element of surprise - and these certainly weren't what I was expecting. I thought I'd learnt from the last time I processed the 120 film (see this blogpost) that there are no second chances with film - you need to have the camera on the right setting....  However, I had my lovely plastic camera on 'B' setting which turns out is meant for night time photos - oops! This setting lets a lot more light in - too much, some might say.

But you know what? I'm kind of falling in love with the dreaminess of these images. And I adore how they give a different take on my adventures round London and Munich, blurring the focus as well as the distinction between recording reality and creating art.

I've now loaded another roll of 120 film, I can't wait to see how this one turns out.  Hopefully with a little more control....
