Here's to many years of love and happiness together - whatever your plans for your day, whoever you are, wherever you are from, taking the pieces of wedding tradition that you love and make them yours, at place that is meaningful to you, with people you love : that's all that matters.

I come along with my camera and my heart, the only agenda to capture the people and moments most important to you...from tiny elopements to huge parties; from short engagements to weddings planned over a couple of years. Town halls, churches, London pubs, forests and beaches; family focused with lots of guests, a party vibe, or something small and intimate. A wedding round the corner from where you live together, in the home where you grew up or an adventure further afield.

Your wedding photographs are an investment and will become an heirloom. For me, shooting a wedding is all about capturing the atmosphere and finding the connection between people yourselves and the people you have asked to share the day with you. The heritage, the anticipation, hugs, tears and belly laughs, and all of the surprises along the way...in little pockets of natural light.

Almost every couple I have photographed in my years as a wedding photographer, have said to me that they feel a little apprehensive about having their photograph taken but they really want images to record their day. The most important thing to me as your photographer is to remain calm and unobtrusive, to capture natural images and tell your story. Portrait sessions and family group photos are a lovely way to mark the occasion but they are by no means the most important part of your album and I approach these in a relaxed way, putting you at ease. I'm friendly and experienced - I also know how amazing it was when I got married to receive the photos at the end of it all and this is why I became a wedding photographer - to pass on that feeling to you.

WEDDING PRICING

Tell me all about your plans and I’ll send you over my hourly rate which is inclusive of high res digital images and my time and travel. We’ll put together a package that suits you and your wedding. I’ll also send you my super lovely wedding brochure with loads more info. Let's meet and get to know each other - I would love to hear your story, and your plans for your wedding day. We can meet over a cuppa or in a pub, and you can ask any questions you may have about your photography or how I shoot. I have albums and prints galore to look at, and I can bring some along to meet you at a pub or cafe within 30 minutes travel of Hitchin. Alternatively if you're further afield, we can meet via Skype. I can't wait to meet you and hear all about you both and your wedding!
